Management Approach
The changing demographics of Thailand will see a reduction from 66 million people in 2023 to just 33 million in 2083, resulting in a decrease in the working-age population while the proportion of elderly population increases to over 50% of the total population (Chulalongkorn University’s Graduate School of Business). This will lead to future labor shortages. Meanwhile, AI and automation will play a greater role in replacing the declining workforce. Therefore, preparing personnel to drive organizations towards becoming leading Telecom-Tech Companies is a significant challenge.
Additionally, the largest telecommunications merger in Southeast Asia poses a significant challenge for employees to adapt to new colleagues, adopt new systems, and organizational changes. Hence, The Company prioritizes creating
an organizational culture where all employees are unified. Everyone must believe in the goals and vision to enable the organization to achieve success as a leader in the Telecom-Tech industry.
The Board of Directors is responsible for oversight, with a management team in charge of human resources management and labor engagement policies, including hiring and workforce management, to cultivate a new organizational culture aligned with the four core values: Compassion, Credibility, Co-Creation, and Courage. These values result from the Organization Health Index process
involving employees and workshops conducted by senior management to jointly establish goals and visions for the new company. The strategy involves caring for employees throughout the Employee Journey or HR6 CYCLE principles toucreate a Center of Growth and Care.
